# Receiving and viewing payouts from a Company On the Payouts page, you can manage everything related to payouts: create, edit, process and delete them if needed — all in one place. All payouts are divided into three groups based on their date and status. Each group displays relevant payout information along with the total number of payouts. * **Unpaid** — Payouts that are scheduled for the current month (current transactions) * **Planned** — Payouts scheduled for the next month (future transactions) * **Paid** — Payouts that have already been completed and

**Payout actions** Below is the list of all available payout actions: * Creating a payout * Viewing details * Editing (only available planned and unpaid payouts created by you) * Deleting (only available planned and unpaid payouts created by you) **Creating payout** There are two types of payouts on our platform: * **Automatically generated** — payouts created by Stape based on the specified payout dates and amounts. Depending on the selected payout frequency, they are generated either once a month (Monthly) or twice a month (Two times per month) * **Manually created** — Payouts created manually, not tied to any set payout frequency. **Note:** To receive a payout from a company, you must first accept their invitation. Go to [**the Companies page**](https://app.thestape.com/freelancer/contracts) and make sure the company status is **Active**. Only then will the company be able to send you a payout.

To create a payout manually, click the **Create Payout** button and fill in three fields: * Company * Payout date * Currency and amount Once a payout is created, the company will see it along with all the details in their Payouts section. It will also appear for you and will be assigned to one of two groups based on the specified payout date: * Unpaid — if the payout date is within the current month * Planned — if the payout date is in the next month or later Please note that it is not possible to create a payout with a zero amount. The minimum payout amounts are 1 USD or 1 EUR. You will receive the funds to your Stape balance once the company manually approves the payout, regardless of the payout date set. We will also send you an email notification once the payout is processed and credited to your balance.

Once the payout is completed, your balance will be updated with the payout amount in the corresponding currency. After that, you will be able to exchange the currency directly in your Stape balance or withdraw the funds to your bank account. You can learn more about withdrawing by navigating to our [Withdrawing funds help page](https://docs.thestape.com/for-contractors-1/withdrawing-funds). **Payout details** To view detailed information, go to **Details** by clicking the three dots button or simply by clicking on the row in the table.

**Total ammount for payouts** Above the table, on the right side of the screen, we display the following aggregated amounts depending on the section: * Total of all unpaid payouts * Total of all planned payouts * Total of all paid payouts **Editing a payout** To edit a payout, click the three dots button and select **Edit**. This option is available for all unpaid and planned payouts. You can update the **payout date**, **currency**, and **amount**. You can edit payouts only if you have created them.

**Deleting a payout** It is possible to delete a payout. Once removed, payouts will no longer appear in the list. To delete a single payout, click the three-dot menu and choose **Delete**. Only unpaid payouts created by you can be deleted.

**Planned payouts** To make budgeting for the upcoming months easier, we've added the **Planned** group. Here, you can track upcoming payouts.

**Paid payouts** The **Paid** group displays a list of all previously processed payouts along with their details. The total number of paid payouts and the corresponding amount are also shown, which can be helpful for budgeting.
