Accepting an invitation from a Company

Before starting work and getting paid, a contractor needs to accept the company’s invitation.

Once a company invites you to collaborate, you'll receive an email notification. To start working, you need to accept the invitation.

To accept the invitation a Contractor should visit the Companies page on the platform. Once the page is open, press Accept.

If you are a new user

If you are a new user with no active Stape account you need to fill in your profile data and sign a contract before you can accept the invitation.

Stape will ask you to provide some basic information such as your full name, citizenship, address, and country of residence. This information is required in order to sign a contract.

Once the information is submitted, you’ll be invited to sign a digital contract with Stape. We use SignNow, a trusted provider for secure electronic document signing.

You’ll receive an email with a link to the document. Click the link, review the contract to make sure your details are correct, and sign it digitally in just a few clicks.

Once your contract is Signed navigate back to the Companies page and click Accept next to the invitation that the Company has assigned to you. The invitation will be marked as accepted and the Company will be able to process payouts to your balance.
