# Withdrawing funds

Once you receive a payout from the Company, your Stape balance will be updated accordingly. You will also receive an email notification confirming the deposit of funds to your balance.

The next step is to choose the amount and currency for your withdrawal method. You can change the currency at any time by navigating to the **Exchange section** at the top part of the platform interface, next to your balance or [**learn more about the Exchange process**](https://docs.thestape.com/for-contractors-1/exchanging-currency).

## Withdrawing funds

Only withdrawals to bank accounts and cards registered in your name are possible. Withdrawals to third-party accounts will be declined, and the funds will be returned to your Stape balance.

The following withdrawal options are currently available in different currencies:

### USD

 These are the available methods for withdrawing USD:

* SWIFT 
* ACH
* Visa\Mastercard
* USDT (TRC 20\Tron) 

The minimum withdrawal amount is 100 USD.

### EURO

These are the available methods for withdrawing EURO:

* SWIFT 
* Visa\Mastercard

The minimum withdrawal amount is 100 EUR.

Typically, transfers are processed:

* Visa\Mastercard - 5 min
* USDT - 5 min
* SWIFT, ACH - 1 business day, in some cases, it may take up to 3–5  days, depending on your bank.

The transfer time depends on the bank and the country of your residence, as well as the internal policies of your bank regarding transaction processing.

## Withdrawing process

Once you choose your preferred method and currency, enter the necessary bank details for the transaction. After filling out all the details, double-check them for accuracy and click the **Save method** button. This template will be available for the future withdrawals.

The next step is to enter the withdrawal amount and, if necessary, the payment purpose. After that, click the **Confirm** button to submit your withdrawal request for processing.&#x20;

On this page, you can download your withdrawal invoice in PDF format.

Once a withdrawal request is created, it will be processed immediately.  You will receive an e-mail notification once the payment is sent from the Stape.

Important: this e-mail confirms that the payment has been sent, but it does not indicate that the funds have been received in your account yet.
