# Registering a Company This page will help you get started with Stape. Here you will find information on how to work with Contractors and process payouts. You can register by visiting our [registration page](https://app.thestape.com/registration). **Note:** To create a Company profile, make sure to select **Company** on the registration page.

Enter your name, email address, and company name. Your name will be used to manage your company's Stape transactions and doesn't have to match the CEO's name.

During registration, you’ll receive an email with an account activation link and a temporary password. **After signing in, we recommend changing your password** [**in the Security tab**](https://app.thestape.com/company/profile/security) **of your account settings.**

For new companies, there is an interactive checklist that outlines all the necessary steps to complete the registration process. This checklist helps guide you from filling out your company profile to processing your first payout to contractors. It's a simple and convenient tool designed to make the onboarding process clear and easy to follow.

1️⃣ [Complete the Company profile](https://app.thestape.com/company/profile/company): Start by entering the information about your Company required to sign the Contract. Just click **Start**, and the platform will take you to your profile page to complete this step. 2️⃣ Sign the contract with Stape: The second step is to sign the contract. We use the digital signature service **DocuSign** to make this process fast and secure. 3️⃣ Add contractors: While the contract is being signed, you can start adding contractors. Just enter their email addresses and key details like payout frequency and amount. They'll receive an invitation to join Stape and will be able to sign their contract digitally via **DocuSign.** 4️⃣ Top up the balance: Once your contract is signed, you can top up your Stape balance. We support several payment methods, including USDT. As soon as the funds are received, the top-up will be automatically processed, and the money will appear in your Stape balance. 5️⃣ Create and process a payout: The final step is to create a payout for your Contractors by specifying the amount and date. If the payout frequency is set to *Monthly* or *Two times a month*, Stape will automatically generate and schedule payouts — you’ll only need to confirm them.\ Once a payout is confirmed, the Contractor will instantly receive the funds in their Stape balance and will be able to withdraw them at any time using a preferred method.
