Inviting a Company to join Stape

A Contractor can also invite a Company to Stape. This is helpful when both parties are already registered and want to speed up the payout process. Alternatively, a Contractor can suggest Stape as their preferred payout platform to a Company that hasn’t joined yet.

Navigate to the Companies page and click the Add Company button. Alternatively, click here to navigate to Add company page

Stape will ask you to select a task (which defines your role as a Contractor for the Company) and provide payout details — such as preferred currency, payout frequency, and the Company’s email address.

The process of adding a Company

Role. A Role defines the type of work you'll be performing for the company. We've prepared several templates for common roles — just choose the one that best matches what you do. If none of them fit your situation, feel free to contact us at [email protected] and we’ll be happy to create a custom role for you.

Payment frequency. Payment frequency determines how often the Company will pay for the Contractor's services. For example, selecting Monthly means an invoice for the Contractor’s services will be generated once a month.

First payment date. Specify the date when the first payout will be generated. Subsequent payouts will be generated automatically at the selected frequency.

Currency. Choose the currency in which you have agreed to accept the payouts from the Company. USD and EUR are supported. You can exchange currency later or learn more about exchanging currency.

Amount. The amount is the payout you expect to receive from the Company. You can adjust the amount later if necessary. If you're unsure of the exact sum, we recommend entering an approximate amount, which can be updated before the payout.

Once the form is completed, the Company will receive an email notification. To proceed, they can either accept the Task directly from the email or by going to the Contractors section in their Stape profile.
